Tchik Tchik is the first American style children's hair salon in Moscow. We offer a unique and fun environment where children can feel comfortable and act their age without parents having to worry about disturbing others as they might in an adult salon. Tchik Tchik turns the sometimes difficult task of getting a haircut into an experience that children actually enjoy. Our patient, child-friendly hairdressers provide quality, age-appropriate haircuts as well as hairstyles for special occasions.

The salon was opened this past November by an American expat mom who has lived in Moscow for thirteen years. On her trips home to the states, she saw how much her three young children loved going to the local children's hair salon and decided to bring the unique concept to Moscow.

Tchik Tchik has three specialized children's chairs - a yellow hummer, a fighter jet, a barbie jeep - and an adult size barber chair which can be used for older children and parents.

Every styling station is equipped with a TV and DVD player. We offer a large selection of children's videos in Russian, English and French. Older children also enjoy playing with our portable nintendo video game player.

Tchik Tchik is a fun experience for all children, however for some it is the only place to get their hair cut! We have had clients who have been turned away from other salons because their children would not sit still or cried. Our hairdressers will work with children of any age and take the time to make their haircut as enjoyeable and stress-free as possible. We will never turn a child away!

Haircuts at Tchik Tchik cost 800 roubles. We also do special occasion blowdrys and hairstyles. Moms and Dads are welcome to get a haircut or blow dry while they wait for their children. On Wednesdays - kids cuts are only 399 roubles. And Fridays are Family Day - get one haircut at full price and pay only 299 roubles for a second cut!!!
